Samila Mohseni Joins CCME as Director of Information Technology
Cary, NC - The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME), a nonprofit health care consultancy providing quality improvement, external quality review, and fraud, waste, and abuse services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Samila Mohseni, Ed.D., CGCIO, as Director of Information Technology. Dr. Mohseni joins from North Carolina Department of Information Technology, in Raleigh, NC, where she served as Senior Director, Service Delivery, Enterprise Applications.
Dr. Mohseni has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and data analytics, including strategic planning and execution, IT and data governance, program and portfolio management, enterprise application, ERP and service management. Her success record includes providing and executing the roadmap and strategic planning for North Carolina’s state-wide Enterprise Applications Services, which folded into NC’s statewide IT strategic planning and included providing direction aligned with business requirements, analysis, development, UAT, deployment and support for enterprise applications at eleven state agencies.
Dr. Mohseni received a Doctor of Education, Technology Education, from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Azad University of Tehran in Iran. She is a Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO).
