The Automated Quality and Utilization Improvement Program (AQUIP) is a review system for the Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP/DA). Reviews are performed by nurse reviewers at the CCME office. Clients participating in the CAP/DA program are able to remain in their home environment rather than become institutionalized. Monitoring of this program evaluates cost effectiveness while assessing the participants health, safety and well-being.
