CCME has a vested interest in health care in the Carolinas. We work effectively with many key stakeholders and providers, and we place great importance on our relationship with these groups. We have partnered with state and local agencies, and health care organizations to provide quality health care interventions, products, and services to improve health in North and South Carolina.
One of our strongest professional relationships is with The Alliance for Medical Excellence, a group of health care professionals and volunteers who work together to develop initiatives on a broad range of health care-related topics.
We have also been actively involved in the sponsorship of the North Carolina Immunization Coalition (NCIC) and the SC Coalition for Older Adult Immunization. We work with other organizations to increase immunization rates and promote the reduction of morbidity and mortality associated with vaccine-preventable diseases.
