Continuing education for health professionals is essential to the health of all Americans. With advances in medical technology and the availability of health information data, all health care providers must maintain and improve their knowledge and skills throughout their medical careers in order to provide safe, effective and high quality health care.
Since 2001, CCME has awarded thousands of credit hours to physicians and other health care professionals in the Carolinas. In addition to our local efforts, we partner with national and international education companies to bring our expertise and proven effectiveness to a broader audience. Our courses are taught by academic leaders and clinical experts who instruct participants using current information and the latest evidence-based techniques leading to measureable changes in physican competence, performance, and patient outcomes.
