What We Do

CCME provides education, leadership and services in review and quality care improvement and programs management for health care providers in the Carolinas. We also conduct research to measure, monitor, and improve health care and provide education services for health professionals and physicians to earn required credit hours.

One of CCME’s key priorities is to increase provider and/or beneficiary awareness of the Medicare program and QIO services. By conveying ideas, encouraging buy-in and community ownership in quality improvement efforts, and by promoting public recognition of QIO accomplishments, CCME stimulates consumer relations and promotes dialogue among providers in North and South Carolina.
