The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME) provides leadership and services in review and quality care improvement and management for health care providers in North and South Carolina. We serve the Medicaid and Medicare programs to ensure that the recipients of these services receive the highest quality and most cost effective care possible. We also conduct research to measure, monitor, and improve health care and provide education services for physicians and other health professionals to earn required credit hours.
