“My CCME” Experience—Becoming a User
One of the important changes we have made is creating the “My CCME” experience for our visitors and clients. By becoming a registered user with CCME you'll be able to:

 Anyone who uses our website can become a registered user and participate in the “My CCME” experience. You can access the login and registration page in the upper right hand corner of the website. There you will be able to either log in to the website or register to become a user.
Required Information
When registering for the site all that is needed is your name, email address, and password to create an account. At CCME, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use your email address to send you information that you have requested.

At any time, you can manage your CCME website preferences and email subscription by going to your "My CCME" menu after logging in. CCME Homepage
CCME’s new homepage design represents the degree to which learning about health care quality has become more important than ever before. The redesign provides greater navigation features to find, use, and share the information that our customers need on quality and cost-effective health care in the Carolinas.
On our homepage you can learn about CCME’s professional services, read about provider success stories, stay up to date on the latest CCME news, subscribe to CCME publications, and find other points of interest.
One of the most notable additions to our homepage is “Our Other Websites” feature. This unique element allows you to dynamically “slide” through CCME’s other websites without ever leaving our homepage, providing a time-saving “at a glance” feature for our clients.

Header Panel
 Let’s start with the header panel. On the left side of the header panel, just below our logo are the navigation links for our corporate website. The navigation links and the three major sections of your website are:

Who We Serve
We work with hospitals, home and community care agencies, physician offices, nursing homes, hospices, and outpatient facilities to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, economy, and quality of services to ensure that patients get the right care at the right time. Until recently, CCME’s relationship with the provider community had mostly centered on its role as the Medicare QIO for the Carolinas. Here you will find that CCME has expanded its reach in many other areas of health care. Learn more about the various services we can provide.

What We Do
We empower our clients with data and knowledge to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of their health care services and have a long history of clinical and review experience. CCME is the only Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) to ever exist in both North and South Carolina. CCME also has a strong history of collaborating with state and local agencies to evaluate appropriateness of care, quality of care, utilization, and reimbursement practices for more than 1.2 million Medicaid recipients in North Carolina and 600,000 in South Carolina.  In the top right corner you will find links to the News Room, Events, Careers, and the login for the site. Below this is our search box; use the enhanced search capabilities to make the vast collection of information more accessible to you.
 Below the header panel on the right hand side, you have font size controls and the abilitly to display the current webpage you are on in a printer-friendly version.
Bottom Panel
On the bottom of every page you will will find more important links to navigate through the site and access the plug-ins you may need to view our downloads. Some of these links in the bottom panel are:
Interior Pages
At the top of each page, you will find a "breadcrumb trail," so you'll always know where you are on the site. You can use “breadcrumbs” to reduce the number of actions you have to take in order to get to a higher-level page.

Below the “breadcrumbs,” you will have the content for the page along with side navigation that allows you access to pages within the main section.
  
At the bottom of every interior page, just above the footer panel, you will see the Share This™ icon that allows you to easily share this page with your friends and colleagues via email or through your social networking sites. Another icon you may see throughout our site on various pages is the comments icon. Using this icon allows you to leave comments and view comments that other users have written. Also, the last icon you will be able to access if you are logged into our site is the “My CCME” Favorites icon. By using this, registered users can easily add the CCME page they are on to their “My CCME” navigation menu.
